Los Volcanes has developed a process to compress high quality, long fiber
sphagnum into highly compressed blocks that facilitate shipping and storage.
We have sphagnum moss products available in:
- Small "starter squares" that measure 2x3cm, 3x4cm and 4x4cm. Click to see them
- 150 gram blocks that measure 12" x 12" x 1/2". They are individually wrapped and packed 40 per bale.
- 500 gram blocks that measure 12" x 12" x 1", packed 20 per bale.
- 1 kilogram blocks that measure 12" x 12 " x 2", packed 10 per bale.
The sphagnum reconstitutes to its original form in just minutes by just adding water.
Super Compressed Moss
Moss in a can! The ideal way for users of small amounts of sphagnum to buy and store their
moss. Just need to pot one or two plants, simply remove one the disks from the can, pop it
into a container of water and wait about 1 minute.Maybe you need more than just the 150 grams that comes in the can. Los Volcanes can provide you with super compressed moss in 500-grams and 1-kilogram blocks. These products measure 12" x 12" x 1" for the 150 and 12" x 12" 2" for the 1 kilo.
Super compression makes for easier shipping and much less storage space.
